afterthought

Memory exists on a delicate balance of being remembered, misconstrued, or even forgotten. A singular event can exist wildly different in each individual’s memory –– it’s an infinitely fluid thing that we try to define, but often cannot. Through this site, I wanted to explore the function of memory as a language to communicate meaning that cannot be captured by written word.

I created this site for the ENGL 2971 "Reading of the End of Time"↗ final project –– I'll back on our apocalyptic discussions quite fondly. The letters take inspiration from our readings: One Hundred Years of Solitude, Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, and The Three-Body Problem.
